PERSONAL
{ Impulsive // Courageous // Easygoing // Passionate }

Impulsive

Oakstep always had the bad habit of acting without thinking. Ever since his kithood, he's been doing things without a simple forethought of what would happen if he does it. He impulsive actions often got him into trouble as a young kit and believe it or not, he still happens to get into trouble because of it. The young he-cat either faced the consequence of getting harmed or getting punished. It often makes him look foolish, but he just can't help it. It's just that little voice in his brain that urges him to do it.

Courageous

The tom's impulsive actions revolve around his courageous character. His impulsive actions drive him into risky situations with determination and confidence. Since he often doesn't think of what his actions will cause, he won't be afraid of doing it. He'll prove that he's brave and that he'll get it done with no questions asked. He'll do whatever it takes to protect his clan, even if it means dying.

Easygoing

As simple as it is, Oakstep a cat that's easy to get along with. He knows how to behave himself towards others and respects others whether he likes them or not. He's calm and relaxed, normally bright and excitable towards most people. He doesn't ask for much, nor does he push others. He treats others how he would want to be treated, and of course, that's to be kind and nice. Even if the cat spits at him, he does his best to keep calm and casual.

Passionate

Oakstep shows off a strong sense of emotion and belief. Even when it comes to love, his emotion for love is strongly shown with a burning passion. Not caring about what anyone would say, he will strongly believe on what he decides and does. Not only that, but he will love whoever he loves and show off that strong emotion.

HISTORY
{ Kithood }

Like any other, Oakkit was a little bundle of curiosity and excitement. He was born in a litter of four kits; All of them going by the names of Bramblekit, Rabbitkit, and Thistlekit. It was a cold, Leaf Bare morning when they were born. Huddling close to their mother, Tawnynose, being forced to bare with the harsh cold that was brought up by merciful Leaf Bare.

It was rough, but Oakkit tried to make the best of it. The brown kit would chat on enthusiastically, playing about with his siblings in the nursery. He was a good kit and he did his best to get along with everyone else in the nursery, but it so happened to be that one of his siblings didn't appreciate his upbeat personality. It was his brother, Bramblekit. He'd often spit and his at his brother, constantly being bothered by how happy Oakkit was. Oakkit was bewildered and confused of his own brother's bitter actions towards him. It was probably the cold that was getting to him, but aside from that, he didn't know what else was causing his brother to act this way.

He tried to be kind towards him, but his own brother's hate happened to build his own. The two brothers would often fight and bicker with one another while the other two siblings sat and watched. As for their mother, who grew tired and a tad anxious of their quarrelsome actions, she would break the two up and set them away from each other. So much for brotherly love; more like brotherly hate. Aside from Oakkit fighting with his brother, he got along well with his sisters. He loved them more than he loved his own brother.

{ Apprenticeship }

Six moons passed and Oakkit's apprentice ceremony awaited him. With paws tingling with excitement and eyes flickering with pure joy. He had finally moved out of the Nursery with his siblings, receiving the new name of Oakpaw and a mentor. His parents looked at his siblings and him with pride surging through them. Looking back at them, he grinned; promising himself that he'd do whatever it would take to be a great warrior like his parents. And so, he worked hard during the moons of his apprenticeship. Oakpaw learned quite fast when he was being taught new lessons. Especially when it came to learning fighting techniques.

Although, during the moons of his apprenticeship, it wasn't all that quite great due to his brother. As they grew, their arguments and bickering became more intense and involved more physical action. His brother had left him with a scar on his muzzle; the tom's claws raking across as Oakpaw yowled with pain. It was painful and it had increased his bitter hatred towards Bramblepaw.

Before he could even get another touch of his brother, their fighting came to an end when their father finally took a step in. Their father, Eaglefeather, scolded them heavily for their actions. Oakpaw had finally decided to never talk or even look at his brother and it seemed like Bramblepaw did the same. Oakpaw kept to his sisters and himself, continuing with his training up until he made it to his warrior ceremony. Being given the name of Oakstep.

{ Ice Age }

Leaf Bare seemed to only last even longer as moons passed. His hope for the cold winter to end was never full filled. The freezing air nipped at the skin under Oakstep's fur as he silently cursed Leaf Bare every night before he went to bed. He only wanted to taste the sun's light and feel the smooth grass under his paws. But all he could ever taste was the cold air and all he could fell under his paws was the cold white blanket of snow that covered the life beneath it. He quietly cursed the elders who got to see that life before he did. He cursed the endless winter.

As time went by, his mother had passed away from an illness she caught from the cold. With the loss of his mother, his family mourned for her death. It was hard for them, especially for Eaglefeather. His father grew cold like the winter after that. Oakstep tried to avoid his father after that. He could understand why his dad would be upset about his mother's death, but why would he have to act colder than Leaf Bare? He acted like Bramblefur whenever he spoke to him.

The endless winter began to make the tom think about his past. It made him think about the brother he had lost when he was an apprentice. The brother he could've built a bond with during his kithood was long gone now. He couldn't really talk to him, nor could he even look at him. Not after what had happened to them when they last spoke. He began to blame Leaf Bare for this cause. It caused his family to become aloof with one another. It caused his family to drift apart from one another. All he had were his sisters. His brother, mother, and father were long gone from him. What would be next? His sisters? He hoped and wished hard that he wouldn't loose them. They were all he had left.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE #Threefold-Kingdoms // RP with =wispwill
"Foot soldier," Sebastian repeated after her quietly. He examined her for a brief moment, nodding his head. She did seem like the kind who would fit as a foot soldier. His ear flicked once he heard her speak once more, crossing his arms over his chest as he listened to her question. Of course, she'd ask him why he was up there. Anyone would wonder why he was up there.

The young man stifled a sigh, unwrapping his arms as he used one of his hands for motion as he spoke. It was a habit of him to move his hands around a lot when he spoke. He blamed his sister for getting himself into that habit. "Well," Sebastian paused for a moment as he searched for an answer in his mind. He felt his cheeks burn with slight embarrassment at the thought of Royalty hanging about in trees. It was unexpected of him to be doing that and of course, he shouldn't have been doing that in the first place.

He rolled his hands as he shifted his eyes side to side nervously as he tried to speak. "Ahhhh... well, I kind of was..." He looked at her and gave her a sheepish smile, "Relaxing?" He finished finally with a shrug. He dropped his hands down to his sides and let out a frustrated, muffled groan. "B-But, y'know. That's not the only place where I relax." It was actually.

I made Oakstripe a boy. GENDERBENT.

I might put his sister in too. Depends if I get acccepted. NYUR.
